LIANG LUMUT RECREATIONAL CLUB

Sekolah Ugama Sg. Taring Lumut organizing a Majlis Khatam Al-Quran at Liang Lumut Recreational Club on the 7th Nov 2009 – 19 Zulkaedah 1430 Hijrah.

Brunei LNG (BLNG) hosted a Hari Raya open house for the Mukim Liang Lumut communities for the second consecutive time at the Liang Lumut Recreational Club.
The event was themed "Keluarga BLNG and Refinery Berhari Raya Bersama Komuniti".

On hand to meet and greet the guests at the open house was BLNG Managing Director Haji Salleh Bostaman bin Haji Zainal Abidin.

Over 1,000 people turned up at the event, including families of BLNG and Refinery employees, contractors and invited guests, where they were treated to an array of local and Middle Eastern cuisines.

The colourful event was aimed at strengthening the long established friendship between BLNG and its stakeholders, in particular, the Liang Lumut community.

In addition, it also provided an opportunity for family members to meet and become acquainted with the local community.

To enliven the event, local artistes were present to entertain the guests.

LLRC will be organizing a Bazaar & Kueh Mueh Hari Raya sales in conjuction with Hari Raya Aidil Fitri on this coming Month of Ramadhan . The event will be held inside the Club Multi Purpose Hall & 26 Booths will be provided by The Commiittee starting 1st – 19th Sept 2009.

For those who are interested to join the Bazaar Sales the events will be open to all Residents of Mukim Liang Lumut & Public from all over the Districts in Negara Brunei Darussalam.

Registration Forms can be obtain thru the Club Receptionist & to be submit not later than Friday 28th Aug 2009.

LLRC Soccer Carnival 2009 closing ceremony were held on 14th June, 2009. The Water Soccer Grand Final Match on that day won by Sulan Sabli FC who took away the Grand Championship Trophy, Cash Prize & Certificate.

The prizes presentation ceremony to all the winners was perform by Deputy Belait District Officer Tuan Haji Abdul Hamid Bin Dato’ Paduka Haji Abdullah, Guest of Honor on that event.

Maktab Pengajian Islam Brunei has recently organized a Camping program at LLRC with a lot of Activities & Events for 4 days & 3 nights on 16th May till 19th May 2009.
